I guess I know what your friend is going through. My father was like that, tightly wound, agitated at every small thing, called me stupid, incompetant, idiot, etc. I would say the first thing that leads up to the "thick tension" that could be cut by the aforementioned butter knife is the younger brother. Since he has special needs, her parents have high expectations for your friend which contributes to them getting angry about small stuff. I guess they are also worried about your friend's safety. When you guys were late did you tell your parents that the train was late right away? or did u wait until you got back home? Since they are seemingly paranoid, or busy with the brother, make sure your friend tells the parents everything, like where she is, why she is late, etc. The relationship between my dad began when I was in middle school and sort of ended Sophomore year in high school. In my case, it was my crappy grades. Your friend needs to find what is upsetting her parents the most. The tension and anger towards small, seemingly trivial things, are a reaction to some action she did that ticked them off. My dad always said "actions speak louder then words" so negotiating probably isnt that great of an idea. I'm guessing that major action is her not being as responsible or careful or communicative as her parents want her to be. Every family is different, so do not see her parents as evil or misguided, though it may seem that way. My solution for now, is to ramp up communication, almost exagerate it so as to tell her parents that she is really trying to fix something. For example, when your friend goes out somewhere, she should send text updates or something, call them once in a while for an update, etc. She can only fix the problem if she can empathize with the parents. getting angry and talking back will only make matters worse and prolong the issue. I hope this helps. I had to go through 5 years of this hell....

If you are rendering, encoding or do some other CPU/GPU intensive task and then go, have a browser open with 5 or 6 tabs open and play a game while it does it's things then the 2600k would most definitely be the way to go.

But the real question is, what in our culture would lead these people to choose a life of crime? I believe in compassion, and there is a reason some of our prison programs (but not enough of them) have wisely chosen to focus on "rehabilitation" rather than punishment. What is the reason why this "culture of death" exists? Why do millions of people have to inherit nothing but trouble? And what is no secret is that minorities suffer the most in the land where "all men are created equal". African Americans, immigrants, and gays are obvious examples. Even women in general are mistreated in too many cases. And the South is on average poorer than other regions.

I once had a situation in my life when I was older, already had 3 children who were in their early teens, the youngest was around 8. The tho't of raising another child was just too much for me. First of all, just please get this straight..i love my mom, she's my best friend, and i can tell her anything, and respect that she takes care of me and loves me..but i just want to know how i can try and talk to her, and meet in the middle with her..sometimes i feel her beliefs and punishments can be a little..unnecessary. It's summer where i live, and i'm all excited, first summer of highschool, and can't wait to have fun with my friends and make it great! My mom typically gives me a lot of freedoms..compared to last year, its amazing and i'm very happy she has. My mom lets me text and stuff during the day, but she won't let me text past 11 at night..which, i understand is lateish, but i really do like talking to my friends and being up all night, what teenager doesn't? I don't get why she won't let me..and yes, i made a disrespectful move, and use skype and a texting app so i could talk to then past 11 (she cut my texting off past 11) and she found out, and got upset. The main issue really with this, is i stay up really late, and sleep in all hours of the day, but hey, its summer, i don't really do much..i just want to see if theres anyway i can try to talk to her, and make her understand that i realy do want to talk to my friends, and that it is summer, and i want to be to stay up late..can anyone give me any suggestions? I was recently charged with obstruction a felony in michigan. I was charged with this for destroying evidence when my friend was being busted for possession of marijuana. I don't know if cordinated is the right word. But for 6 years I was a serious dancer. I danced ballet and I was also on a competitive dance team. My uncle is my violin teacher, and he's always been willing to give me free violin lessons. He taught me when I was little, and now that I have orchestra at school, I only go to him once a month. Also, my dad is my dance teacher, which he thinks is more important. I forgot to show up one time last week because I was in the middle of practicing the violin, so now he punished me by not letting me go to my lesson. I really need the lesson, though. School is out now for summer, so I don't have orchestra at school, and I'm having a really hard time with some shifting in a solo piece, but my dad won't listen to any of it. Grueling, but effective (in terms of my Asian cultural lens). As we have seen through "tiger mom" and such, Asian parents are rather... Extreme... in terms of discipline and punishment. Punishments for 6 year old?

My step son is 6, going on 7. His mom and stepdad have told me things they do that work at home to punish him (we have him during the week right now whereas usually he's just with us on the weekends.) I take care of him and his older sister while their dad is at work during the day and even though I've been caring for him since before he was 2, it's like he's suddenly forgotten how to listen to me. I've tried EVERYTHING with him. From sending him to his room (it's enjoyable or a good time to nap for him so he doesn't care.) to raising my voice (which redirects him for a while but then I have to do it again when he starts acting up again and it just hurts my throat.) I've tried time-outs with nose in the corner to sitting on the couch and not being able to play to even letting his sister take care of it when he hurts her. Nothing is working and I'm out of ideas. As a step-mom I don't feel comfortable spanking and while I may do it when my own child is old enough and misbehaving like he is, I honestly don't think it would even work with my stepson. Recently I've been making him run laps around our backyard (not that big) but it seems like he dreads doing it but doesn't really care that he has to when he does get in trouble. I guess what I'm looking for is creative (non corporal) punishments that will work for a child who seems not to care when he does get in trouble. Any ideas?

well im 18 wensday i got a new job and right now im a factory worker and i dont really like it. I have been with my bf for 10 months and it's been a bit rocky. I haven't always been the most honest or faithful.
