Whats up with all the Boston rivalries?
I agree to a point. The Patriots vs. Colts rivalry is one of the best in the NFL, but it's only because the Patriots have thoroughly owned the AFC East for so long. Until the last couple of years, the Jets, Dolphins and Bills rivalry with the Patriots was very one-sided. The Colts were the annual foil for the Patriots. They meet annually because they always seem to win their division and then almost always meet in the playoffs. Manning and Brady are two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. But those factors don't make a permanent rivalry. And Brady and Manning actually like and respect each other. The best rivalries in the NFL are among the four teams in the NFC East. Ask a Philly Fan what he thinks of the Giants, Redskins and especially Cowboys, and you will see his face turn red in anger. Same process in the other 3 cities.
